Your Guide to all of the Holiday Happenings at Inglewood Elementary

• 12 DAYS OF DRESS UP | December 4 – 19
  • Thursday 12/4: Candy Cane Lane – wear red and white.
  • Friday 12/5: Christmas Vacation – wear Hawaiian shirt or your favorite vacation shirt.
  • Monday 12/8: Festive Flannel – wear your favorite flannel shirt.
  • Tuesday 12/9: Jingle Bells & Tinsel Toes – wear your favorite Christmas accessories and socks.
  • Wed 12/10: White Christmas – wear white and/or sparkles.
  • Thursday 12/11: Feliz Navidad – wear red and green.
  • Friday 12/12: Grinch Day – wear green and your best Whoville hairdo. 
  • Monday 12/15: Holiday Spirit – wear your favorite holiday spirit or winter gear.
  • Tuesday 12/16: Tree Topper – break out the Santa hat and reindeer antlers.
  • Wed 12/17: Light up Our School – wear your favorite IES fear and add festive accessories!
  • Thursday 12/18: Christmas Sweater Day – the tackier the better!
  • Friday 12/19: Long Winter’s Nap – wear PJs or comfy sweats. 
• BOOK FAIR | December 8 – 12
  • Parents will be able to shop with their kids after the winter concert on Thursday, December 11.
  • Load money onto their e-wallet HERE.

• HOLIDAY HAPPENING WINTER CONCERT | December 11
  
  • Doors open at 5pm. Show starts at 5:30pm.
  • Baked goods will be for sale by the PTA. If you can donate food, please sign up HERE.
  • Please have your kiddos dress in all black with festive holiday headgear.
• HOLIDAY STAFF APPRECIATION | December 11 – 19
  • Hot beverage station and decorations in the staff room!

• WINTER LUNCHEON | December 12
  • You may bring your own lunch or purchase a school lunch for $6
  • Times for lunch are: 
    • Pre-K & K: 11AM
    • 1st: 10:55AM
    • 2nd: 11:45AM
    • 3rd: 12PM
    • 4th & 5th: 11:10AM
• EAGLE’S NEST WINTER SHOPPE | December 16
  • This is a favorite holiday event at IES! 
  • Donations are being accepted through December 12. 
  • Donations needed: Any kid/family-friendly items, such as games, toys, electronics, housewares, team apparel, jewelry, scooters, mugs, etc. Gift bags and tissue paper are also needed!

• NASHVILLE’S NUTCRACKER, TPAC| December 17
  • School-wide field trip to see the Nashville Ballet perform at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center
• FAMILY GAME NIGHT  & PHOTOS WITH SANTA| December 18
  • Ugly sweater game night from 5:30 – 6:30. Wear your tackiest sweater, bring your holiday spirit, and get ready for an evening of games!
  • Santa will be there for pictures along with a hot beverage bar!
• EARLY DISMISSAL & SHOWCASE OF LEARNING | December 19
  • Q2 Showcase of Learning from 8:30 – 9:30AM
  • Early dismissal: Pre-K @ 11AM, K – 5 @ 11:30AM
• CHRISTMAS BREAK | December 20 – January 5
  • School resumes on Tuesday, January 6th
