  • You are invited to celebrate the opening of this new exhibit, presented by Mrs. Pruett’s Third Grade Environmental Connections Class.

• EARTH DAY | May 4
  • Educators from across Nashville will be at Inglewood to lead our kids in fun environmental activities.
• LEARN, CONNECT & PROTECT COMMITTEE MEETING | May 4
  • Inglewood Elementary from 5:30 – 7PM.
  • Join us for a community learning session on: your rights interacting with ICE, mutual aid efforts and current legislation to engage in legislative advocacy.

• TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK | May 4 – 8
  • Monday: Breakfast Cart, Wednesday: Car Wash, Friday: Treat Bags
  • Sign up to volunteer your time or donate a teacher gift bag HERE.
• NO SCHOOL | May 5
  • School closed for Election Day
• END OF YEAR FORMAL | May 7
  • At the South Inglewood Community Center from 4 – 7:30 PM.
• MINGLEWOOD FUNDRAISER | May 8
  • Join us at the American Legion for a night of karaoke and a silent auction!
• FIELD DAY | May 11
  • Join us for fun and jam-packed Field Day hosted by Mrs. Dunaway!
  • Pre-K – 2nd Grade: 9-11AM. Sign up HERE to volunteer.
  • 3rd – 5th: 12:30 -2:30. Sign up HERE to volunteer.
  • Food trucks will be onsite from 10:30 – 12:30 PM. Purchases can be made with cash or card.
• PTA MEETING | May 12
  • Meet our new PTA Board Members! Childcare available from 6 – 7:30PM.
• WILLY WONKA PLAY | May 14 & 15
  • Inglewood Elementary is pleased to present Willy Wonka Kids! Doors open at 5:30 and the play starts at 6PM.
  • Tickets are $10 for kids. Tickets go on sale May 10th and will be available for purchase in advance or at the door.

• PRE-K GRADUATION | May 15 at 9:30 AM
  • Parents are invited to stay and eat lunch with their child.
• FOAM PARTY | May 15
  • Students who miss two or less days between April 13 – May 14 will earn an invitation to the Foam Party.
• KINDERGARTEN STEPPING UP CEREMONY | May 18 at 10:15 AM
  • Parents are invited to stay and eat lunch with their child.
• Q4 SHOWCASE OF LEARNING | May 19
• AWARD CEREMONY | May 20
  • Awards for grades 1st – 2nd at 9AM
  • Award for grades 3rd – 5th at 10AM.
• LAST DAY OF SCHOOL | May 21
  • This is a half day for all students. Dismissal is at 11AM for Pre-K and 11:30 for K-5th. Have a safe Summer Break!
